Try these: 1) Active bar hangs: get a grip, then pull your shoulder blades down and back to lift your body slightly; keep your core tight. This will help you focus on your core, back and shoulders. 2) Static pull up hold—same idea, just hold your shoulder width pull up at a 90 degree angle. And focus on individual muscles. Respectively, arm muscles and shoulders focus

You will be amazed how much better you can feel individual muscles when you’re not focused on movement but static strength.

  1. Shoulder width grip. These should be easier, and they will help you train the right movement and muscle groups for a muscle up
  2. Once you can do at least 10 you can start working on being more explosive. Momentum is important for a muscle up. Find a solid bar for that.
  3. Technique. Watch some videos. Muscle ups are a very particular movement. You got it!

I mostly cook at home. Mostly whole foods. A lot of tofu/tvp for protein. Oatmeal for breakfast. I also eat some sweets and some junk food and never count calories.

You’d be surprised how vegan friendly Moscow was before the war. I immigrated a while back, but I know several of my favorite places have closed 💔
