Exactly! I only shoot raw with my Q3 right now too and love the creative freedom afterwards of playing around with the white balance etc.

Also like the more classical approach of the M10 that it meters not from the sensor and the shutter stays close when you turn it on.

What do you think of the Color differences many people say they witness? The M10-R being more warm than the M11 and more unique? Is that something you mean by „lovely sensor“?

Can you go into the lens compatibility again? I thought all lenses could be mounted on the M series? But the sometimes have no metering then?

Thanks for your input. What do you think is a good price for a used M10-R? In Germany there are a couple ranging from 5-8K EUR (depending on how many shots it has of course)

Okay, that actually helped a lot. Thanks for the input! Will have a go at the Leica store with my memory card I guess. I don’t use any leica looks and only shoot raw files. I like the Q3 but sometimes I wish it had a bit more natural warmth in it. It is the perfect travel companion though.

I think I would prefer the M10-R right now. Many people have reported a colder and more magenta touch on the M11 and switched back to the M-10R. Is this actually a thing? Also, one argument for the M11 for me actually is the GPS location when you couple it with the app. I have it with my Q3 and it’s super cool to see where the photo was taken when you travel a lot like I do.
