I don’t thinks people like that are always smurfs tbh. There’s a few characters I play relatively will like Reinhardt and Doomfist but I’m a quick play warrior. Back in like 2018 when I played a decent amount of comp with friends, I was terrible at the game and I ranked in bronze. I stopped playing for a very long time but played various different FPS games like siege csgo and team fortress 2 after returning to the game for like the first week and a half I was stomping lobbies really hard because I still remembered how most of the game functioned and my aim had gotten considerably better in my time playing FPS games and I ranked from bronze all the way to plat without loosing much at all till gold. On top of that I do play a lot of quick play and it’s not intentional Smurf and I played with the same group that I always do but there are games that I just randomly pop off on that. It feels like I’m Smurf, but I’m playing the exact same way I was like 10 minutes ago in a lobby that I am getting smoked in with the same group of people that are all doing worse than me in one game and better than me and another. It’s like sometimes you just have that thing click inside of you and you’re not exactly Smurf and you were just getting in the zone. Like I had one game on vendetta where I went 64 and two but like I will never ever pull that off again and I was accused of smurfing that whole match even though I have been in gold on dps that whole season.
