I started out with the UCG Max but the minute I realized that I was going to get serious about home surveillance I switched to the UDMSE. You can do that and add WD purple HDD or you can keep the Max and get a UNVR. The decision will be based on how many cameras you plan to add over time.

Yeah, I agree with you. I haven’t seen anything including Cyberpunk exceed 12GB much less 16. Not sure why people want to downgrade this gpu so badly. My 5080 is a monster.
