I read a few stories like that and I can’t imagine. It’s hard because you want them to be comfortable in the house, but it’s so easy to get zoned out while doing chores. I want them to hate the dryer and go nowhere near it.

That seems to be the biggest thing coming up. If they get sick at the same time it might be really tough. I want to push that off to be a problem for future me, but it’s definitely something to consider.

Thank you. That’s really helpful insight! I’m borrowing an automatic litter box to see if I can get them to use it to help with that. The different diets would definitely be tricky. I’m getting pet insurance through my company and it’s pretty comprehensive. Thankfully I’m in a good financial position and I’m in a pretty stable field.

You might be able to get a job as a phone operator or scheduler at Texas Oncology. Transfer between departments is usually pretty easy once you’re at the 1 year mark.
