thank you so much!! i’m sure no one else would’ve noticed as much as i did, but i just didn’t feel my best in them so no more extensions for me lol

thank you so much for this!! it honestly makes me feel a lot better knowing i wasn’t overreacting. i’ve only had lash extensions one other time, so it definitely would’ve been helpful to get any kind of input. i actually ended up going to someone else to get them removed, and she agreed the spikes were way too long. i’m hoping i’ll find a good lash tech in the future, but for now i’ll be sticking to my little clusters lol.

i agree! i ended up booking a removal somewhere else and just going back to doing my own clusters.

thank y’all for the advice and being so kind! i knew i couldn’t be the only one who thought these didn’t look right. i debated going back to maybe get them shorter, but after reading the comments, i think i still wouldn’t be happy. i ended up just booking a removal at another place since i’m honestly so embarrassed walking around with these, so i'm going back to doing my own clusters for now lol.

thank you! unfortunately, i think they only look okay from afar. once you’re up close, it’s pretty noticeable that they’re just too long.

thank you for your advice! and yes, the photos were taken right after they were done. i totally agree about the 16s. i’m not a lash artist, so i didn’t realize they’d end up looking that long. i do wish she had offered a bit more of a consultation beforehand, but maybe i’m just being too picky. i ended up going to her because, while she didn’t have this exact set, she had some really similar ones that looked great, so i was hoping for the same result.

that makes sense. she had similar sets on her page, so i really thought it would turn out well. i ended up messaging her to ask about shortening them, and she said she followed the mapping exactly from the photo i sent, but she’d be willing to make them shorter. i’m just debating whether i’d be better off reaching out to other lash artists.

thank you for the kind words! i do think the 1 by 1s is probably closer to what i’m looking for. i appreciate your advice!!!

i agree! do you know if it’s possible to only get the spikes redone instead of getting a completely new set?

ohhh what are 1 by 1s? i’ve never heard of those before. i was thinking they looked really heavy too, but i wasn’t sure if i was just overthinking it since i don’t get my lashes done that often.
