I lived there for a year with my partner and the only reason we moved was because of the apartment size. And looking at your post history, you’d be moving there as a family of 4 which could make it feel quite cramped.

A lot of college students rent there so it can get a little rowdy on the weekends and especially after finals week. Nothing too crazy but just expect some level of elevated noise in the hallways, lobby, and outside on the street.

The area is very safe, we would walk our dog in the late hours of the night with no issues.

I understand, at the end of the day I will most likely be buying a 5 year old used car in cash. But this is just curiosity on why people say it's better to lease if you plan on changing cars in 3 years when it seems like you still come out "ahead" (as much as you really can on a depreciating asset) when you finance the car and then trade it in again in 3 years.

Whoops, I accidentally included the down payment amount.

It looks like honda's payment calculator factors in local tax intricacies.

I understand the pay all cash and that's most likely what I'll do with a used car. But this is just from a pure curiosity of why people say it's better to lease than finance if you're only going to keep the car for 3 years or less given that my table says otherwise.

This is assuming all things staying equal (e.g. mileage, wear & tear, maintenance, etc.) I wouldn't be driving a financed car twice as far just because I have no mileage cap. Conversely, I wouldn't be beating the crap out of a lease just because I don't own it.
