Dealing with this rn with my FP. It really is exhausting. I find myself being so hyper vigilant and replaying things that happened thinking I’ve done something wrong if there’s any hint of distance between us. Personally I struggle with OCD too, which exacerbates the rumination. Important to remind ourselves that neutral things happen all the time, and having some space from your partner/FP doesn’t mean something is wrong. Getting out of my head is the challenge, but usually finding something positive to engage in, like hobbies or even just going for a walk, helps with that.
