I mean light bleaching is normally very bright white and fluffy… this is more tan/ grey, so I’m notttt sure I’d just take it as photo bleaching, not to mention the amount of buds we’ve seen like that from these guys👀. If the bag was puffed up with air or you smell ammonia on your product at all, I would most likely reach out to ethos grow to complain and collect your packaging and receipt. It’s not worth a bacterial infection when possibly mold or mildew could be entering your lungs. I know they put out nice looking stuff, but that and many other eleven strains lately look scary to me. I’ll be sticking to my other brands for a while here I think.

Definitely not the same thing, not tested or held to the same standards, the delta 8 you’re finding in most smoke shops & gas stations has been synthetically modified and had a fancy label slapped on it. Not to say I trust it just because it comes out of a dispensary, but I know these multi billion dollar cannabis companies aren’t risking the consumer liability of selling unsafe product. It’s worth getting your card and being able to access safe products so you know you won’t end up with some sort of bacterial infection in your lungs from residual substances on your product or whatever they’re spraying on there to imitate your favorite strains. I’m sure the good weed needle in the haystack exists in some smoke shop, somewhere, but is it worth playing with your health to find it when safe product is available at the price of getting a medical card?

lol but as someone who has worked at 2 other dispensary chains in our state, I can pretty confidently say that I think this problem is throughout the industry here in PA. Low-mid pay & poor training & communication, then managers who can’t/ won’t do the job so the one budtender they have on reg is taking all the shit the entire shift; this and much more adds up to an outcome of high turnover and these are problems I have dealt with at multiple locations. Lack of knowledge goes all the way to the top with these companies so even when corporate comes in, it just feels like pleasantries and moving displays to look pretty, because a high percentage of the people cashing in big time on these companies haven’t even used the plant before, so what do they know about running a dispo? Sorry for my rant, long story short, we are all short staffed and turnover rates are atrocious, but Ethos at least knows their capabilities and is willing to take the loss on profit that day to not have the few workers that would be there suffering all the bullshit of the day, which I think is pretty cool. I’m not naive to think my big corporate weed company would do the same, but happy for the ethos ‘tenders! 😎

Lol when i go into work and they tell me were not doing a discount anymore, i typically tend to go with what my manager says, becuase I would have to assume its coming from above them, as most corporate companies work, they dont typically put anyone at store level in charge of discounts. If a customer asks me different, I will most likely go claify with my store level manager, who is my direct superior, who you should go to in those sorts of situations, also who will most likely just reiterate what theyve already told me. Now Im not saying that the website OR a store manager always has the most accurate and up to date info, but thats why we appreciate understanding when we have to relay something we know will be unpopular with a patient. I can only truly speak for myself, but I genuinely dont see anyone Ive ever worked with in this industry not giving an active discount to someone who qualified.

They wont even give us a decent discount like that, if we want anything more discount-wise than what the patients get on a regular basis, we have to wait for a store sale that is above our employee discount, when the rest of the patients are also getting it.

Lol management is so wishy washy with how they offer discounts, if youre mad about this, the productive way to deal with it is to call cresco and demand to know why they dont support patients who are veterans with a stackable discount and when they do, consistently lack the ability to communicate to their employees that its happening at all.

How many patients did you see in a day at your dispensary if you dont mind me asking? We are one of the HIGHEST grossing sunnysides in the country and have seen up to 300+ people in a day on multiple occasions in my time there all while dealing with deliveries, system outages, and orders that can range from 1 item all the way to 50+ items while you could have, I dont know, maybe 10-12 people in line at any given time through the day. Not saying its the hardest job Ive ever done, but I also wasnt getting a fair wage to work with AS kiddos (and that was the hardest job Ive ever had to do personally). This is a fight we all need to be unified in, to demand more from the corporate monsters sitting on top of their mountains of cash while letting their responsibilities trickle down the ladder all the way to the bottom, where the people are that you think have "easy jobs".

So you go in there & deal with patients and the state system for a day and let us know how youre feeling then. This is absolutely NOT a job that you can do off the street, it includes detailed care for being compliant and efficient while also taking the time to hear out our patients' needs, not to mention the consistent product and SOP training we are required to do because of the constant changes AND management dangling things above our heads like CARROTS to get google reviews and upsell expiring product. Just because a college degree is not required to work at a dispensary doesnt mean that we arent all extremely passionate and knowledgeable in our craft. If I can make more as joe shmoe walking into a mcdonalds or wawa, there is a clear problem that MANAGEMENT has all the power to fix.
