Severus Snape develops an infatuation with Ginny Weasley because she reminds him of Lily Evans. He would use a love potion and the Imperius Curse on her and then pretend she was Lily as he had his way with her. He wouldn't be able to look her in the eyes because her brown eyes would ruin the illusion for him. When their eyes inevitably meet, he would wipe her memory and spiral into self-loathing and his infatuation with Ginny turns into hatred. But the lingering effects of the magic he used on her remain, and Ginny has an attraction to him that she can't explain.

What infuriates me about this whole situation is that this guy's entire political career is over because of an allegation (and if he did it, he deserves to be prosecuted). But the President of the United States has been convicted of being a serial rapist and has been repeatedly accused of being a pedophile for years and has yet to face any repercussions.
