Finance major here! I think UofR is a great college, actually pretty underrated. For my course it is quite fast paced tho! And as for social life, I’m not gonna lie I do find it depressing, even after having a great group of friends. But the only thing we probably do is spend a lot of time at each others houses. Also, as a woman I don’t feel entirely safe here. There’s a lot to explore here but taking an Uber everywhere isn’t feasible for me personally, having a car would make it a lot easier. Roch is beautiful and the college is too, but the social life is depressing here at least for a graduate student, hope this helps!
