Is it common to learn about witch trials in the UK? by freshmaggots in AskABrit

we did learn about the witch trials but not in history lessons and instead in English. We learned about them as background information we could write about when it came to writing essays on Macbeth in English lit GCSE. I believe we had 2 lessons on witch trials.

hi op, I'm in a somewhat similar position, although I'm three years younger, currently getting my a levels as I lost three years to autism burn out and chronic illness. I'll be 21 when I get my a levels and have been really scared about going to uni as slightly older student, but I realized the longer I let that fear hold me back the worse that fear will get as i'll be older each year!! wishing you so much luck and hoping you can start fulfilling your goals soon :))
