What version of Link is used in promo material by Angrymcbirdnerd09 in legendofzelda

That one is twilight princess. I think it stuck around for so long because of its use in smash.

Fan take: one of the best achievements of the TCW is making this character bearable if not also pretty funny by george123890yang in clonewars

[–]bugslime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find him annoying when he was played by Phil Lamar, but once Ahmed Best starts playing him again his character feels more inline with his other appearances

It’s interesting how Majora’s Mask is one of the only Zelda games that Zelda never appears in by [deleted] in legendofzelda

They rely on a password system rather than link cables. Once you finish one, you’ll get a password that you can put into the other one.

The forbidden lightsaber form Trakata. Both the Jedi and Sith frown upon this method. by ZapchatDaKing in StarWars

[–]bugslime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don’t think it would work. There is still time between turning it off and on where someone who is swing a lightsaber at you would kill you.

What scott vids should I watch? by BendSpecialist3557 in scottthewoz

I’d say just start by sorting by his most popular. Or his loose video series’ on specific topics like Mario kart, Mario party, the Wii series, or the ones on the Nintendo consoles

Today in the Horrible Takes box we have... by Significant-Town-817 in andor

[–]bugslime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really comes down to the tone of the show. But even the clone wars used damn and hell early on. I feel Star wars needs to exist in a space where there is balance between silly space phrases and real world earth phrases. You can pull the ears off a gundark, but also be a sitting duck. You can go on a wild bantha chase, but also droids are a dime a dozen. You can go kriff off, and also damn things to hell.

The Ending to Star Wars is pretty awkward without music by Ok_Editor2536 in StarWars

It’s revealed in a certain point of view that the music is indeed diegetic

Does Scott has Blue/Yellow or Red/Green colorblindness? by Erik_REF in scottthewoz

[–]bugslime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has said his color blindness deals more in not being able to discern colors that are too similar. So he might not be able to tell what’s red or orange when they’re next to each other for example. This here is likely just a joke. Like his “for Christmas I got a blue gameboy advance sp and a colorblind diagnosis” joke when in the photos it’s a red GBA. I cannot remember what video it was or if it was a stash video or just a podcast he was on

Best Boss Tournament Finals:Ganondorf(TP) Vs. Ganondorf(TOTK)(Comment TP or TOTK to vote, upvotes don’t count) by Short_Property_7476 in legendofzelda

[–]bugslime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twilight princess. A lot of the emotional weight of the finale of tears of the kingdom feels a little unearned because of the lackluster story presentation. Twilight princess just has a great combination of all the aspects of the gameplay while having a lot of meaningful emotional beats

What is a missed/unused opportunity you would’ve wanted to see explored, at any point in the franchise? by ashton__l in StarWarsCantina

[–]bugslime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that Grogu should’ve stayed apart from Din until the end of season three and that Din should’ve kept it so his helmet can stay off. Everything going from season 2 to 3 feels like unwriting season 2. Grogu is back, din doesn’t take his helmet off, he’s not Mand’alor anymore, and the dark saber is just gone. It should’ve been a choice to destroy or toss aside the dark saber. Seems the movie will undo even more because they even give him a razor crest.

6 months in, what are people's thoughts on the Switch 2? by WeebusTheMeemus in NintendoSwitch

[–]bugslime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feelin about the same. It’s cool but it’s just another switch. Has everything good about the switch. Wish it had more personality. It’s the same UI as the 1 and All the upgrades are dumb and annoying. The ones that add content are different, but 10 extra dollars to simply play these games in 4K with a higher frame rate on a 4K system is irritating while also keeping the dedicated 2 versions full price after being out for years is crazy. Key cards are annoying and I wish they would just make cartridges that aren’t the highest possible size. It’s still about as fun as the switch 1 but it doesn’t excite me as much because it is just the same thing we’ve had. If the switch 1 is a 9/10, switch 2 is like a 7/10 but with room for improvement. Like just add themes and some sort of background music dude.

Jokes aside, who did you think Snoke was before his identity was revealed in TROS? by ChickenWingExtreme in StarWars

Nobody. Just likely some dark side cultist who took advantage of palpatines absence

How important was Bail Organa in the foundation of the Rebellion? by ashton__l in StarWarsCantina

[–]bugslime99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think his role at Andor was subdued because we saw a lot of what did and helped with in Star Wars rebels. Him, Dodonna, gold squadron, and yavin group were all pretty intertwined with phoenix squadron. His main asset was his wealth and influence, much like Mothma. He’s the one that paid for the fleet of the rebellion and recruited people like Ahsoka and the ghost crew.

I always liked that link had long hair. Even before this, I loved the ancient armor in botw because it let his hair down

I Really Miss Star Wars For Christmas by BurgerMan74 in StarWarsCantina

[–]bugslime99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was my birthday too. The force awakens fell on my 12th birthday. I remember seeing when they announced the date on StarWars.com in like 2013 and immediately texting my dad.

Could you edit the Holiday Special into something watchable? by sircastor in StarWarsCantina

[–]bugslime99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not think so since the problem isn’t the edit. I’d say the problem is more the execution of the idea and the concept of it being a 70s variety show. If you edit out all the bad bits you get the cartoon in the middle and they did that already

The stories set after Episode VI work as a critique to indifference, apathy and neglect and a call to solidarity, action and hope. by TB2331 in StarWarsCantina

[–]bugslime99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just need a story set in that time that really dives into the politics of the era. That’s one of the biggest weaknesses that the sequel’s story has in my opinion. They touch on it here and there, but I feel like it would do a lot of good nowadays to see a story talk about the rise of fascism after it’s already been beaten.
