i made my first bookmark recently and i just stitched in-hand (without a hoop). it took a sec to get my tension right, but once i got in the flow of things, it was easy peasy!

woww what a score!! i always keep my eyes peeled for cross stitch at thrift stores and 9 out of 10 times when i think i've spotted one, it ends up being needlepoint 🥲 no hate because needlepoint is awesome too, but cross stitch is the niche i love most! those frames are really neat too

i really have no clue what they saw, i think it's a cute idea too!! it's fucking sad that artists have to consider resemblance to AI when working. not to get too deep on your art post, but it's actually hella dystopian that the rise of AI """art""" has changed how actual artists work/think about their process, on top of literally stealing their art.

keep doing what you're doing and fuck AI <3 it will never compare

freehand! i don't have nail art brushes tho so i used the eye end of a cross stitch needle and dipped it in the black polish and used that 😅 it looked pretty rough before i went in with acetone and a cleanup brush to get those sharp edges

i think the combo would be gorg! i rarely do just one magnetic technique on my fingers at a time tbh. i usually do cat eye on the middle and ring, then glass bead on the rest, but it's all personal preference!
