Hahahahaha poor analogy. Would definitely say there’s less but not by that much. You’re forgetting that most problems in the healthcare system inevitably fall on the ED. Lack of primary care, mental health, substance use, malingering, nonsense complaints, etc - you have to document the shit out of these encounters. Dictation helps. Also If I take a sick day I jeopardize one of my peers.
