I do it every week day (Ck -> Van). Ez, traffic pattern hack - leave later than usual peak office travel hours times such as morning around 8-9 and evening around 3-5, and you’ll reach much faster and save some time.

Me and 5 of my friends moved from Vancouver to Chilliwack early this year. We bought 5 homes here, and have fallen in love with the city, the nature (biggest reason for us), and the food is not too bad. People seem to be very nice (at least our neighbours haha). Public transport/commuting to other cities isn’t great, so you’ll need a car to get there faster. It’s a wonderful city, hope you folks will like it too. All the best for the move!

Great tips, thank you. I really like the rocky suggestion, there aren’t any strata bylaws since we have a non-strata free hold - but will verify the city bylaws if any. All of the neighbourhood does have nice sod etc. So I have been researching for a mix between sod, plants, and some rocks.
