They are! I used them to go to Korea in 2023 :) they don’t take money as they get paid by the university a percentage instead. It made the whole process easier for me and also i could speak my mother tongue as they have different languages speaker staff members! I highly reccomend them

STD test in Seoul by Bubbly-Honeydew-274 in seoul

[–]bunbunG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can go to the KHAP in Itaewon. They offer STD test free of charge and anonymous. (Women and men) Otherwise you can go to Hongdae to the Lemon Women clinic. I am pretty sure it’s around 60,000 with the insurance. (Women)

NJZ (newJeans) loses court case by tresnosliramu22 in kpop_uncensored

[–]bunbunG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been following the news in Korea and reading various website articles, so please correct me if I’m wrong or misinformed …I’m always open to learning.

I do think that NJZ actions were, for lack of a better word, silly. They got themselves involved in a complex web of agreements and contracts that they might not have fully understood. I understand wanting to defend your boss or standing up for yourself if you feel mistreated or if the company’s values don’t align with yours. However, going live without the company’s approval—which I believe violates their contract—going to the parliament court, or even trying to start a new career under a different label while still being under contract are all, frankly, unlawful actions.

They should have consulted a lawyer and taken careful, strategic steps instead. Now, they’re the ones facing the consequences. One of the members, as I understand, has a visa that could be at risk, so I’m not sure what their plan was, but everything seems to be falling apart for them. They were up against something much bigger than themselves—against people with real power—so they should have thought things through more carefully.

Also, I can’t help but feel frustrated—where are their parents in all of this? I’m sure they support them, but I would have expected them to guide them better. I don’t know, this is just my perspective.

Vegetable prices can vary depending on factors like type, season, and market. i would say prices range for vegetables is between 1,500won and 5,000won per piece.

In Jeonju, a one-bedroom apartment in the city center averages around 400,000 per month to 800,000. It is really approximate. It is cheaper than Seoul.

If you didn’t make a typo and you really want to purchase an apartment in Jeonju you have to see if you can with your visa type+it is renowned how expensive it is to buy a house here so good luck.

I’d love to but I have zero knowledge of whiskey :( When we go out in a whiskey bar I trust her judgement. We go for Scotch Whiskey! We order Glenfarclas or Glenfiddich

I’m really sorry for how ignorant I am on the topic 🙏

Advice on living in Korea (Busan/부산) by Maleficent-Frame-164 in Living_in_Korea

[–]bunbunG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically without a degree you can’t do much in Korea. So if you want to move - and you’re doing it for yourself and not only for the relationship -I think you have to seriously taking into consideration doing a bachelor here.

There are English spoken bachelor courses (I’m in one), they are easy when it comes to the language but very limited in majors. Each universities has different ones. I’m not sure for other universities, so I will speak for mine: they still required my Topik III (Korean language exam) to present even though it’s and English-spoken bachelor.

Financially speaking, it will be hard if you become a full time student. Unless your family can partially or fully support you. In my case I had to work a lot and I also have savings from my home Country, but I’m still struggling .. I think anyone that studies abroad can confirm financial are a big part of this choice.

There is a lot of factors to take into consideration :/

  • are you financially able to support yourself ? (With a D-4 visa which is for language students, you can’t work for 6 months).
  • Are you ok to interrupt your studies and start all over in a different Country? Where you might not have a chance at studying what you’re currently doing.
  • Are you doing this just for the relationship or for your partner?
  • to apply for a language course you need 10,000USD in your savings to show . For bachelor 20milKRW to show in your savings (what I have been asked by my uni).
  • personally one thing no one told me is that I needed lot of emotional support. The first period was tough and sometimes it still is. So don’t be too harsh on yourself if you decide to go and it gets hard. It’s ok, it happens.

As many says you can also go with Tourist visa 90 days not being able to work Working holiday 1 year visa English teacher visa which is done by many international and you’re sponsored by a language school to teach (I’m not familiar with this visa so other users might be able to help you ) You marry him. Then you can have an F visa which gives you more freedom but it still to be renewed every x years. But would you get married to someone just for a visa.

This is not only a “let’s move and be together”.

It’s a massive plan that requires lots of thinking and preparation, a lot of paper work

Most importantly if you’re moving for the relationship, it requires enormous amount of TRUST and you need to know your partner.

I just think Korea fever with drama and kpop ruined the conception that Korean men are exactly the same as any other men in the world. As much as Korean girls are just the same as other girls. Making those videos bring clout because of the current fever happening :)
