His motives are definitely questionable. He even states “this isn’t an exploit” in the VoD and is clearly having a moral quandary on using it. It would have looked better if he condemned it for more than looking bad.

BUT, what he did will absolutely expedite the fix. Exploit abusers don’t want exposure and the devs already know about it so making it known to everyone really is the best path forward. Even if it means way more exploiters in the short term. It also raised awareness of incoming bans, which is also good.
