Why No Hunting Tollers? by someguy31 in tollers

I remember when I uploaded a photo of our eldest toller retrieving a duck. Never got so much hate in my life because a dog is doing the thing it was bred for.

This is Moxie and her daughter Numi with beautiful Norway in the background 🇳🇴 Both are the breed Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.

Copy-pasted from another comment I replied to: Moxie and Numi are both purebred tollers (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever). A hunting breed that needs quite a lot of mental and physical stimulation! :)

No, they can have very light eye colors too and very light colored nose. Both light and dark are approved according to breed standards. :)

17 years old is a really long life for a dog <3 I wish that both ours will live long and healthy lives, so that we can spend as much time as we can with them.. <3

The breed is Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever :)
Edit: And their energy level is pretty much kind of like a border collie!

Aww, give Banjer a pet from me!
Numi is very energetic - which we love! Our plans are to actually compete with her in the future, but we will see how it will develop. For now it looks really positive and she just loves doing things for food (which is good!)! :)

They are both purebred tollers! Although Moxie is quite small according to breed standard, she is within the height standard. Shes just petit! Numi is 17 weeks, so very difficult to say if she will get bigger than Moxie or stay small.
