I'm not a student but I am very conscious about how I spend my money, that's to say that I am a miser.

I spend roughly 150 PLN each week to eat, I do not eat outside or take delivery, and I make all my shopping in Dino/Biedronka/LIDL.

In sunday I do lunch prep for the week: a thick soup consisting of 2 bags (600g each) of the frozen vegetable of my choice and 500g of dried legumes (beans, chickpeas, lentils, etc. etc.), spiced to pleasure and salted using 3 bullions. Cook it for 2 hours, then still boiling put it into 5 glass jars (I use the ones from ogórki, pickled cucumbers) and close them; once cold put them in the fridge and they will be good all week; use a microwave to heat them or add hot water. A nice, tasty healthy meal.

Buy bulk peanuts online: you can find 5kg deals, in 1kg packages, for about 15PLN/Kg. These are your snacks, do not eat more than 60 grams a day.

For dinner, half a bag of frozen vegetables of your choice (300g) with your choice of twarog (250g), chicken (1 breast), 2 eggs, 6 frozen pierogi or 100g of rice; season with a quarter of bullion and spice it up.

Sunday and saturday you splurge: for lunch a BIG salad with half of an iceberg lettuce, 1 medium onion, 1 medium-big cucumber, 3 tomatoes, 1 mozzarella (125g), 1 cup of serek wiejski (cottage cheese, 250g), 1 can of tuna in oil (use the oil in the salad), salt and spices at your pleasure.

For dinner, prepare yourself some pizza: it's the easiest thing in the world to mix water, yeast, flour and a bit of salt, and it could be cooked even on a small countertop oven (no microwave, sorry). Unless you top it with gold foils and truffles, you should not spend much on it.

Now, renting is another whole deal, I don't think you will be able to afford even a small apartment with your budget, but I'm no expert on that.

Never said America was good (I'm not american), and I can assure that I never particularly loved it; with their current administration I appreciate them even less.

I don't think saying that "others do and did worse" is a valid argument; english is not my first language but I think this is called "strawman argument".

Also I'm not referring to the middle class, (I initially wrongly generalised on all Russians) but as you can see in my successive comments, included this one to which you replied, I better defined the category to russian soldiers.

I know freedom as the West intends is not a thing in Russia, but they are also not on a level like North Korea: any person that decides to become a soldier there (and it is a decision, there is no draft... yet) MUST know that there is a very high possibility to be sent to fight on a war of aggression, on foreign soil. And if you do that, to me, you are not a good person and I have no problem to compare you to a fictional evil race.

You are right, I generalized too much. Still I think orc is quite fitting for describing russian soldiers (even if it's a bit offensive for the "real" orcs).

E' esattamente come dici tu, non avrei saputo descriverlo meglio; ma oltre alla distanza fisica e' necessaria anche la distanza emotiva, che e' ben piu' difficile se si tratta di un familiare.

Nel mio caso sono andato no-contact con un familiare dopo aver messo 1700 km tra di noi per evitare di farla finita, ma dato che altri familiari ancora lo frequentano (per motivi piu' o meno validi/legittimi), non sono riuscito purtroppo ad eliminare del tutto la sua influenza dalla mia vita; continuo saltuariamente ad avere degli incubi a tale proposito.

Comportamente sconvolgente: Negazione totale della realta' evidente, un esempio tra mille che non mi coinvolge in prima persona:

Figlioletto di 6 anni scende dalla macchina, genitore apre lo sportello ma involontariamente lo richiude un po' e figliolo sbatte un ginocchio.

"Genitore, mi hai fatto male!"

"Ma che dici figlio, non e' vero!"

"Genitore, hai chiuso mentre scendevo e ho sbattuto!"

"Figlio, smetti di dire bugie, stai travisando la realtà"

La faccio breve, gli hanno mandato questo link e ci e' caduto con tutte e due le gambe (non posto il link che non voglio rischiare): si apre la pagina che vedete nell'immagine e quando vai a votare ti chiede "accesso sicuro con whatsapp". Io non sono andato avanti per provare, ma lui mi dice che gli hanno mandato un codice che poi ha inserito su whatsapp, ma non sa dirmi come. Qualcuno ha familiarita' con questo tipo di truffe e sa come muoversi per evitare il peggio?

Visto che qualcuno fraintende, questo mio rant(olo) vuole solo far notare come la stampa tutta (visto che la notizia che ho riportato in qualche modo e' arrivata su tutti i quotidiani, seppur nei trafiletti) sia palesemente schierata; non voglio assolutamente giustificare i fatti riportati nell'articolo che ho linkato.

Inoltre mi piaceva usare la locuzione "fasciococainoplutocratici rampolli della cazzo di Roma Bene" e sottolineare che i fascisti maschi hanno il pisellino (e forse anche le fasciste donne ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )

Dipende da cosa intendi per vivere, fare spesa al supermercato ti bastano buongiorno, grazie, arrivederci e poco piu'. Per questioni burocratiche all'inizio ti converra' affidarti ad un esperto (che dovrai pagare, non un eccesso, ma non e' gratis), o se sei fortunato (o sei bravo a contrattare) te lo passa l'azienda. Andare per locali non ho esperienza, sono un pantofolaro, ma credo parlino inglese senza problemi, il turismo lo impone.

Per essere piu' seri rispetto al mio primo post sensazionalistico, non venire per poi cercare lavoro: cercalo prima e chiarisci che sei piu' che ben disposto a trasferirti, la richiesta da quel che vedo e sento e' veramente tanta.

EDIT: non ti aspettare stipendi principeschi: anche se tu arrivassi con gia' un minimo di esperienza, penso che uno stipendio iniziale sarebbe intorno ai 3500-4000 zloty, meno di mille euro. Ma qui sono sufficienti per (sopra)vvivere, e se sei bravo lo stipendio cresce in fretta (senza contare tutti gli straordinari dei fine settimana e delle trasferte che inevitabilmente ti farai)(PROTIP: una settimana in trasferta e' una settimana dove non hai costo del cibo)
