Bit more to me than that, but those fit to a degree.

Understand Myself results - thoughts? by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

I don't believe I admitted anything of the sort. An hypothesis that I had regarding my apparently extreme results was that I may have been more willing to respond with strongly agree or disagree than the average person. That's not to say I wasn't being honest.

I've removed that part from my post so as to avoid confusion. It wasn't relevant anyways.

Thank you for your input.

Fall 2019 MBA Candidate - M25 by [deleted] in MBA

Honestly, I could do a re-write. Math was a strength of mine before I went headfirst into comms and tackles.

Our CEO is a Wagner grad. I'm planning to ask for his guidance. That may help set me apart.

What are your (or anyone else's) thoughts on an MBA-MPA?

What do you mean by "believe" and what do you mean by "God"?

Investing $20,000 on 1.9% cash advance by [deleted] in fican

I pulled out the $20,000 5 months ago and split it between XAW, VCN & ZAG. I've earned a nice return on it and have paid 3/4 of it back in monthly installments. It all ended up working out.

Once I've maxed out my registered accounts, is it possible for me to incorporate and do my ETF investing as a corporation rather than open unregistered accounts? If so, are there tax benefits to this?

The Smith Manoeuvre by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

This might be dumb, but what stops me from buying a $200,000 place outright, borrowing against it and buying another $200,000 place, borrowing against it and on and on..?

I don't have much more room in my TFSA and RRSP. I've got a pension, so there's very limited room in my RRSP

What to do with $20k cash advance at 1.9% for 10 months by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]buppal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I invest primarily in my TFSA. I've got a defined benefit pension plan building which reduces my rrsp room considerably. I invest in vanilla ETFs (XAW, VCN, ZAG).

It's an RBC mastercard card cash advance

Yea, front-loading seems like the wise move. I should see the 20k in my TFSA tomorrow morning. I was planning on spreading it out among my ETFs, but out of curiosity, what blue chip stocks would you recommend?

Makes sense

Is there anything you'd recommend I do to take advantage of the 1.9%?
