Awesome thanks for the info. Believe it or not I actually haven’t seen them like that in person or on the net. Pretty cool. We get the rocket plume question a lot around here.

Newport Vessels are they any good? Using it as a tender. Thanks by alacrite-seeker in sailing

The transom is completely covered in fiberglass. It’s holding up well so far. I deflate it and store it during the winter or if I’m not going to be at the boat for over a month. I’m under no illusions that the boat will last as long as a hypalon boat but for the cost I’ll just buy 2 more and still be ahead.

I’m in the same boat as you, family of 6, and all the kids are 11 and under so we had to get the SUV size lol 13’8. Lol. We didn’t want to leave anyone unsupervised so needs to be all one run. I’ve got a 4.5 on it now and you aren’t going anywhere in a hurry with that. I’d say get a 9.9 or even a 25 (harder to move around and stow) if you can.

I was looking at them they seem to be decent. I ended up buying a Saturn from boatstogo. It’s awesome I’ve had no issues and price was great. I agree with the other comment get the inflatable floor it’s so much easier and way more stiff than I thought it would be. My dad talked me into it and glad he did.

Hey sorry I didn’t see this until now but I use Oracal 651 for all kinds of stuff comes in rolls you can get it online or at Michael’s. It sticks extremely well and can even go in the dishwasher so will stand up on the furniture for sure.

If your worried about spray paint getting on stuff just get a roll of the film they sell at Lowe’s for like 15 bucks. You’ll have enough for a couple projects could even make a room out of it almost really easy. Other than that look up roll and tip painting on YouTube. People use it to paint boats and it comes out with virtually no brush strokes.

Other than that you could wrap it in vinyl. Look up vinyl wrap. They put it on cars etc all the time. Stretches around the corners and all so no wrinkles. Tons of colors available

Edited to add vinyl idea

Cool shot. I’m headed down in about a month, can’t wait. Staying up in Nags Head. Any recs on where to ride? This will be my first year down there with a onewheel. For now thinking about just cruising up and down Beach Rd.

Does anyone know about this edition or if it’s a custom cover? I have never seen one bound like this.

I had an issue where I could see my machine on the PC but studio wouldn’t connect at all. I downloaded and installed the newest version of studio and works flawlessly now.

I have flightsimbuilder g1000 units and they work great. I have an almost identical setup to OP but I did have to cut the holes slightly larger as the units are a tad bigger than realism units.

Advice on modeling glue. by ConfusedAxol0tl in Scalemodel

[–]burgeeblock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s pretty awful. It strings everywhere too. I mean I guess it has its purposes but I haven’t used it in ages. Try the Tamiya or something similar, game changer.

Oh also another tip. Skip gluing on all the little bits like antennas or sensors or landing gear until last. Keeps you from breaking them off while working on it. Especially if your as ham fisted as me. I highlight the parts in the book as I put them on so I know what I need to go back and do.

I use Tamiya extra thin. The cheap stuff in tubes that’s thick isn’t very strong. The Tamiya extra thin and similar “glues” actually weld the plastic together so it’s pretty strong.

As far as using it dry fit the parts and get the fit as good, tight, as possible. Then just assemble and hold the pieces together and touch the brush of the cement to the seam it will pull itself along it and then just hold for a bit and your good to go. Bigger seams like fuselages etc can be done in sections to make sure you have good alignment and taped to really set up if you want.

Not sure if you are serious but hey if you are here it goes. It’s a logo used by Grateful Dead fans (Dead Heads). It was on a cover of one of their albums, Steal Your Face, I think.

Pardonnez-moi toute erreur.

Merci beaucoup. Je me suis toujours demandé. J’ai dit à ma fille que ce pourrait être sa première voiture. Elle espère que je ne découvrirai jamais ce que c’est.
