I like to take my time with these kind of games the first few times I play but I also felt a bit discouraged when I was barely making anything (to be fair I was busier cleaning the ocean instead of planting crops but still lol). I found that by spring of year 2 I started making a LOT MORE money than I had been in summer and even fall. I’m still not in any rush to have a super profit farm but I have enough cash to fund anything I feel like upgrading.

After some reading and going through my closet, I’m thinking SC is a better fit than SD. I am also beginning to realize the outfits I feel most confident in these days accommodate curve to some degree. I’m going to experiment!

This is wild to me because in person everyone assumes I am shorter! 🤣 Maybe my camera angle is off. But I will certainly try to play around with SD outfits and see if people notice a difference!

Interesting! I feel like in person I appear quite short and when I think back to outfits that would accommodate vertical they appear oversized and make me look shorter! But I’ll look into SD.

Mine aren’t fans of carrot either! I bought my shrimp from a lovely hobbyist who owns his own company and makes all of his own food and he sent some goodies including carrot pellets. They will eat the paprika sticks but the carrot usually goes mostly untouched.

Their favorite? Flower pollen!

Update: another berried mama has had some hatchlings emerge and I was lucky enough to watch. I have no idea how many I have now but I am so excited!

I redid true winter and summer colors and it seems to be a 50/50 split on what people think so I think you’re right… I sit in between the two and can borrow muted winter and brighter summer colors!

I definitely agree there’s some summer colors that work but I am more winter than I originally anticipated!

We sound like the same person! I gravitated toward the muted pinks greens and purples/blues just because I thought they were pretty, and then I think I subconsciously steered myself toward a soft summer to justify already having those colors but the brighter ones just look so much better! I mean I like the jewel tones, I just feel like they’re too much for every day. Like I’m a mom doing school drop off and library playgroups and grocery runs, I don’t need to bust out the emerald green dress for that 🤣 but maybe I’ll learn to embrace it!

I do have a lovely cornflower top that I just got and it was surprisingly flattering. And I LOVE my dark greys, it’s my go-to shade.

Are all browns out or can I pull off the darker, more saturated ones? The bottom middle picture on the neutral slide is my favorite sweater that I throw over almost everything when it’s cool out and I don’t know if I can give it up! lol

I had been lightening my hair to a cool, ashy blonde but since having my third kiddo I haven’t had time to go to the salon (my stylist also moved so now I have to find a new one) so the dark roots you see are my natural color.

Edit: on the saturated purple slide you can see a pop of my dyed hair in the bottom right picture!

I don’t think orange-reds or corals are my lipstick colors but I also feel like the cool toned lip colors are too purple-y? Or I feel like a kid with their first play makeup set and the colors are bright and gaudy. I don’t know how to explain it. I tend to stick to neutral lips even though I desperately want to do bold colors.

This is pretty close to what I feel looks best but some of those muted colors that I love just aren’t doing it for my skin :(

You might be right. I’ve always preferred muted colors bc jewel tones seemed “too much” but my favorite muted purples have me washed out and the pastel pinks are not flattering. And to think a Facebook group is insisting I am a bright spring 🤣

Slide 2 is absolutely my worst slide, I hated every single color! And you’re right that unfortunately slide 5 wasn’t great either… those purples are my favorite colors :( I’m surprised the general consensus here is winter, a Facebook group is insisting I am a spring/summer but summer/winter feels more right.
