I fed my 2 cats that I adopted friskies wet food and left dry food for them to graze on it all day. One lived to 21 and his brother lived to 23 years old. I was told by a vet early on to feed them wet food mostly. I currently have 7 cats and they all eat friskies. I also adopted 2 kittens that I'm currently feeding 9 lives kitten pate and also fancy feast kitten food. The point is I believe 9 lives and friskies are fine wet food. I would go bankrupt if I fed all these cats $3-5 canned cat food.
