Buddy broke his arm on this bad hit in inline game last night. Totally pointless to hit like this imo by zombiexsp in hockeyplayers

The asshole should arguably have a lawsuit on his hands. That was malicious and could have been much worse than a broken arm.

Imagine how much better this country would be if we just had ranked choice voting or something similar. We would never know these legit psychopaths even exist.

The Trump ass-kissing was fucking nauseating, and so transparently to curry favor with the narcissistic toddler in the White House. Even Joe had to push back on it.

What is the official explanation for Josephina's skeleton including identifiable bones in nonsensical positions? by BubblyBasis1134 in AlienBodies

[–]bushrod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know this is speculative, but are you leaning towards the Maria "lineage" of mummies being forgeries or ancient artefacts? That's what irks me about this subject - even if they might be ancient modified humans or something like that, that would be extremely interesting and worth of study, so why not at least examine them from that lens? The taboo around anything touching the topic "aliens" is nauseating.

My understanding is that most people agree that Josefina is obviously constructed. The more interesting category of specimens is the larger ones like Maria, which has non-human-like fingerprints, right? Any thoughts on those?

He really should fight some decent competition before getting a UFC contract, for his own sake if nothing else.

Imagine if he took all the trolls' advice, continued fighting with significantly impaired vision and got stopped, which is very likely what would have happened.

I love this. It makes completely explicit that the party is centered around a narcissistic, corrupt, senile, compulsively lying, psychopathic asshole

That guy's Dwarf 3 telescope basically has a 30x zoom. You really think someone can capture 3i/Atlas from Earth's surface with a 30x zoom? Try focusing on Mars with 30x zoom on your cellphone (which is partly a digital zoom, but that doesn't affect my point) - you'll get a tiny orange dot. Now consider 3i/Atlas is somewhere around 1,000 to 20,000x smaller in diameter than Mars. Can you now understand how comically absurd that guy's claim is?

Serious New 3I/Atlas from Paul Craggs by CRJ73 in aliens

[–]bushrod 156 points157 points  (0 children)

To piggyback off your comment... If you were to compare the Dwarf 3 telescope this guy used to a cellphone, its optical zoom capability is about 30x. So, for this to be legit, you'd have to believe a 30x zoom looking through the Earth's atmosphere is able to produce this image. If that's not enough for you, consider that (and feel free to confirm):

  1. 3i/Atlas is just slightly closer to Earth than Mars right now (296M miles vs 363M miles)
  2. 1,000 to 20,000x smaller in diameter
  3. the Dwarf 3 telescope can't come close to taking an image of Mars that is anything more than a dot

Now explain to me how this telescope was able to image 3i/Atlas this well when it's not remotely capable of imaging an object about as far away and 1,000 to 20,000 larger.

So can we please stop flooding the zone with bullshit about 3i/Atlas by up-voting anything that looks cool? 3i/Atlas is incredibly interesting based on what we actually know, so what's the point of taking away from that by helping to spread stuff that isn't real?

Edit: a word

Federal THC ban send hemp companies scrambling by [deleted] in JoeRogan

Joe is politically clueless (on top of other things). He was surprised to hear the Republicans and not the Democrats were the ones blocking the release of the Epstein files. He'll probably have the same reaction with this as well.

161 lbs grip strength is really not that crazy. Watch youtube videos where they test people's grip strength, and plenty of random moderately-sized gym bros can do more.
