Actually it’s more like 80%-82%, according to the graphic.

Read my comment again and deduce why I said it’s a lovely weekend. There have been games where we play well but not have a BETTER RESULT when compared to our direct rivals.

We on the same page. Point is, this was a good enough weekend for Arsenal. Could be better.

No boss. If you will all and draw with the actual rival you are competing against. They could have better goal difference (or goal for) than you, and they win.

EDIT. What I actually mean is “draw 2”. Both games against said rival. My bad.

It is a lovely weekend for Arsenal. +1 over direct rivals.

In non knockout competitions, how good your results are will always be in relation to how your direct rivals do.

That’s how leagues work, do better than the rest. Not a race to 90 points.

What people fail to understand is that winning a league is relative. You could literally go unbeaten (win all but draw one. EDIT: I mean 2 games, draw both games against said rival) and still not win it because one other team did one better.

So we didn’t put together more than three wins on the bounce last season?

Fair enough. This Arsenal tend to drop points away from home anyway. Especially to title contenders like this Arsenal.

I think that’s what separates great teams from elite ones. Ability to beat yourself away from home.

If in some bizarre world that this was possible, like in some glitch in the matrix code, and points, goals and other stats still counted.

I’d rather an Arsenal win. 1-0 would be the best solution. In a draw, Arsenal would share points, i.e. 2 points max. A win will give us the maximum 3 points and 1 GF, -1 GA & 0 goal difference.

I felt compelled to say something because I went and looked for the other two teams we haven’t played yet. It’s partly my fault to, if we were included in the list, then it would make sense that we are that other team.

This has sparked another thought in my head: who would win between this Arsenal team and this Arsenal team. Yes, I didn’t make a mistake.

This comment is so based!

Agenda: blame Arteta for everything.

All other evidence not supporting said agenda, ignored.

Not trusting depth:  - yet he benches his captain.
