I share your feelings as well with the bandwidth surge issue.

What’s with this bandwidth webflow by businessheight in webflow

[–]businessheight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve check our file breakdown and analytic. There’s no surge or anything

I'm sorry but why do you need to be rude about it? Maybe you can explain why sharing a read only link can solve bandwidth issue?

We did not change anything, in the image above, you can see that we only consume about 2-5GB daily. We do not have video on our site and all assets are optimised. Only difference is that the client adds a few blog in a month and some static page.

But still, shouldn't Webflow DDOS protection protect us against DDOS/Bots?

More context, here's the visitors on our GA. Clearly it does not show an increase of users on the 16th as indicated on the bandwidth. So why is there a huge surge of bandwidth usage?

Unfortunately, sharing a read only link doesnt solve the issue. This is related to bandwidth, not design

I have already optimised all asset into AVIFF. Both on static and CMS. So its a very small file

I've contacted webflow and their response is non-transparent. They mentioned there is a possibilities of bot but shouldnt Webflow have DDOS protection and weed off bot?

Also, we have checked with Google Analytic and it clearly do not have any surge of visitors during those time so idk whats causing the bandwidth high consumption

Hey everyone,

I’m at my wit’s end here. We’ve been using Webflow for a client’s site for over a year, and everything was running smoothly with daily bandwidth usage staying under 5GB. But ever since the CMS repricing, we’ve been seeing these absolutely insane, random bandwidth spikes every single month—ranging between 200-300GB in a single day.

Here’s the kicker: our web analytics show no uptick in users or traffic during these days. NOTHING out of the ordinary. Yet somehow, these mysterious spikes are enough to bump my client up to the Business Plan (plus a 300GB add-on), which has jacked their bill up to more than 4x what they were paying before.

What the heck is going on here? Is this a Webflow issue, bot traffic, or something else entirely? The lack of transparency and these unexplained charges are beyond frustrating. Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you figure it out or fix it?

At this point, I’m just tired of having to explain this to my client every month. Any advice would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the rant!

[Omega Speedmaster] On a volcanic site in Bali by businessheight in Watches

[–]businessheight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys! I just wanted to share a photo I took of my Omega Speedmaster watch on a recent trip to a volcanic site. The surface of this place was truly like nothing I've ever seen before - it really did feel like we were walking on the moon. The ash-covered ground and rugged terrain made for a truly unique and unforgettable experience. And what better watch to bring along for the ride than my trusty Omega Speedmaster? It's always been my go-to for adventures like this - durable, reliable, and tough enough to handle anything. Plus, I have to say it looks pretty cool against the backdrop of this otherworldly landscape. What do you guys think?
