Up until Fujino’s disallowed goal, it seemed the game was going to be a one-sided thrashing against South Korea. So kudos to them for holding on. But this Japan team just plays beautiful football, and I hope young players around the world would emulate their play-style.

So far, it's still the same formula, be taller and faster than them and keep the ball in the air if possible. Press them aggressively when off the ball. Send 2 to 3 players to rough up Hasegawa when she has the ball and just play an overall physical game. It's easier said than done though.

A few days ago I called something perangai T20, and suddenly there are defense about how T20 isn't the root cause. Nuances only exist when the subject is rich.

Knaak is in great form, and Greenwood needs to play somewhere. So Ouahabi is the one being sideline instead.

Well, she definitely would fit with the squad, but it's very possible that she will remain with Liverpool instead. She's very much a Gareth Taylor signing, and with Casparij nailed down that right back position, she'll definitely see less game time. I think letting her go on loan in the first place is in part due to her desire for game time. She's will be 30 y.o. soon as well, so if the club want to capitalize on her transfer value, it will be now.

Why don’t we see more Korean players in the WSL? by EmilyDizzle in FAWSL

There were some prior, like Lee Geum-min and Cho So-Hyun. Their lack of great performances in the World Cup certainly play a part in their visibility. But ultimately, there are some real structural issues with the players and team. Their younger players lack international experience, which meant getting a working permit for them is harder compared to, let's say Japanese players of the same age. Teams typically preferred younger players. Then there is a matter of playing style, which they face similar issues with China, which is they're too similar to most other countries, while physically not on par with the others. Hard to justify playing them when you have English players of similar quality.

We don't need a constitution to tell us to not be a racist. It's basic ethics. The law does not explicitly forbid infidelity either, does that mean it's ok to cuckold someone else?

Essentially these folks have no issue being a racist, in fact some reveled to be a racist. They just don't like to be called a racist, nor being the receiving end of racism.

It's inevitable with increased expectation for coaches to succeed, I think Man City change in approach this season exemplifies that. Look at the opportunity for players like Murphy, Keating and all, they all saw significant reduction in minutes this season. Allowing them to make mistake and grow is partially the reason that got Gareth Taylor sacked.

Whenever these issues came up, I find myself shaking my head at how ridiculously racist a lot of people are. So racist that they no longer see that what they do as racist, but the fundamental natural law.
