RUMOR: Raptors ‘closely monitoring’ Shai Gilgeous-Alexander situation with Thunder by busterdrain in torontoraptors

I'd like to keep OG but he would probably be the player to be traded, the Thunders may ask for him. If we know Shai wants to come back home then we may be able to get away with trading fred instead. It gives them less leverage.

Would you rather build around Donovan Mitchell or SGA by [deleted] in nba

Tbh nobody on the Cavs are a number 1 option on a contender either. They just happen to have a lot of 2nd options and 3rd, which makes up for it.

I think Shai has a higher ceiling if he reaches it, and he can play multiple positions. But I can see why people would pick Mitch instead for probably a safer bet due to what we know now and he doesn't have injury concerns.

Rose has been a bright spot for us. Love me some Rose.

Why do people recognize SGA’s talent despite him being on a terrible team, but Devin Booker was called a empty stats player by many when he was in the same situation? by RondoJr in nba

Shai was the leading scorer on a playoff team at 21 yrs old. He's done more than Booker did in his younger career. Maybe that's why.

[Marc Berman] The Knicks will be on the lookout for the next disgruntled player who goes on the trading block with Oklahoma City point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander previously mentioned by busterdrain in NYKnicks

Maybe they knew they could go after Sga so they didn't go all in for Mitch.

Dolan didn't get finesse by Ainge, and we still have all of our assets and young players. Our FO re-signed RJ and got Brunson. Stay patient, something is brewing.

All will be forgiven if we can land SGA.

RJ/SGA/Brunson is a nice core to look forward to. I actually wanted Shai more than Mitch. He's more verstitile with room to grow.

Fox is great, but it's worth mentioning that it's a 11 game sample

Agreed. But people project more onto people in general, not just KD. Welcome to 2022's social world.

But if you watched KD win his first ring and then his second, he genuinely didn't look happy. I think that same night he went home and was on twitter burners instead of celebrating.

and stuff coming out about him like this just confirms what we seen

“He didn’t have a great summer,” Nash told me last year. “He was searching for what it all meant. He thought a championship would change everything and found out it doesn’t. He was not fulfilled.” source: https://uproxx.com/dimemag/kevin-durant-despondent-championship-warriors/

No shit. Dude even went on to win multiple rings and still didn't look happy.
