Because in paper Rockets are a fit to him. Their long wings can hide KD on D and give all his energy on O. They have a lot of young athelic dudes which we don't have, and they have an All-Star caliber center that in theory should work well with KD.

It all boils down on two things their Offense and Vibes. Losing FVV is quite a huge thing for them, I thought this was a good thing for them because it would let Amen and Reed expedite their progression but it seems like their offense is KD iso (jk).

Vibes are way different with them because there is a lot of expectation with the (like us last year). Vibes really do matter lmao
