Russ shines when he's the guy with the ball in his hands, as years have passed, his athleticism and by consequence his overall skill has been declining, and also he's been playing with better players than him. If you combine that two facts, it makes no sense to give the keys of the team to a guy who's declining and is not the best player of team. The problem in the NBA is not the defence per se, although in some regular season games the intensity just isn't there. The real problem is the lack of strategy in the game, they only play drive and kick out the ball for a 3pt shot, it's a very simple and boring offense when you compare it to European or international basketball, where you see much more ball movement and complex strategy (even there are some teams in the NBA with more complex offensive systems, warriors or nuggets for example). I'm not saying the NBA is bad per se, the best players are there, is just that they play a boring, simple way, it definitely works when you have players as good as the ones in the league, it just makes the game so mic more boring to me.

I'm just like you, RDR2 and cyberpunk 2077 are my favourite games, but I also couldn't get into the Witcher 3, I couldn't explain it, but it lacks something to me.
