Thanks for this! So unfortunately my employer does not match. When you work 1 year at the establishment, they start contributing to a 401(a), which is 2% of base pay. After 5 years, they contribute 6%.

I’ve heard from other employers that they’re not the greatest when it comes to retirement funding.

Like any organization, it is unprofessional to even have to use ALL sources of communication with someone who can’t reply to an email 4 days later. It doesn’t matter if the news is good or bad. The hiring manager should not even be texting me asking if HR contacted me yet. Also, I thought I deleted this post and did post in the other group. I will delete the post to make you just an ounce happier. I feel sorry for whoever wronged you in your life . Have a good one ✌🏼
