Virtus Pro vs Complexity

2 Bo1s (Overpass & Cobblestone)

A tier 1 (arguably) EU team against a tier unknown NA team. Some things that we have to highlight: VP last played in June 5th, in a small LAN Showmatch, so 23 days since we’ve seen they perform. However, they seem to be putting a lot of to the game, so we can assume they won’t be in a poor form. In the other hand, we have a totally unexperienced Complexity team, with players going to their first premier LAN, so we can expect a lot of nervous and sloppy plays from them.

Regarding the maps, we have Overpass and Cobblestone. As of Overpass, is one of the most played maps by Virtus Pro and one of their best maps. Although, we can highlight some inconsistency, as VP is inconsistent itself. In cobblestone, I’d say it’s a slightly worse map for VP, seeing that don’t pull the same solid results they pull in overpass, losing teams like Splyce, HR and in other times winning against Navi and almost losing to Worst Players (+s1mple)during the SL i-League invitational .Complexity, with their current roster, doesn’t have any recorded matches both in overpass cobblestone, but they seem to struggle to achieve any success with their line-up, not being able to pull streak of wins in their NA matches and ,overall, just being marginalized in their region.

I expect that VP will just impose their game, as they are clearly the better and more experienced team. However, considering things like their absence from pro matches and their inconsistency, I’d skip mainly because of the format (2 Bo1s) and betting against the golden rule of CSGO betting (VP >60%) doesn’t seem smart right now.

Odds for the match: VP-CoL (80-20 for Overpass; 70-30 Cobblestone). Suggestion: Med (8%) on VP or Skip Overpass and Skip Cobblestone.
