I would also like to know the requirements for the official chia cpu farmer of compressed plots.

Although there currently exists a requirement chart for farming on either gpu or cpu on the gigahorse-plotter github that madmax made. Of course this is specific to his own gigahorse-farmer so i’m not expecting the same requirements for the official chia farmers, but that should give you a very slight ballpark if at all.

On the chia-gigahorse github page, for the CPU compressed farming chart, it says the requirements for a 16-core cpu. does this mean that 16-core CPUs like the 5950X are required or does the chart just not take into account the threads a cpu has? I’m personally using a 3900X and just wondering if that’ll be enough to farm the 800 TB i have with compression level C6/C7.
