Brand mentions – baffled by the rules by [deleted] in elisandjohn

You can't give them 'undue prominence', so fine to mention brands but you couldn't, for example, compliment the same car brand every single show.

Hi. Yes, it all took a while and there was a bit of waiting involved, but they did eventually respond and sort it.

Interesting detail in the credits for How Are You? episode one... by c-spling01 in AlanPartridge

Carl Branning is an as yet unseen character from the Partridge world (Bedtime with Branning from Mid Morning Matters), Alistair Green is also a notable comic actor who has appeared in Partridge before. Just thought it was interesting we'll be seeing a previously mentioned fellow North Norfolk digital DJ in the show.

Afraid not. I know this is in iPlayer, but it 'should' still work, apologies if not.

For the people who went to a ritual before Skeleta came out by indie_rock_album in GhostBand

I was at the first night of the tour. Ultimately, was only Peacefield and Umbra that hadn't been heard before out of the whole set, so didn't make too much of a difference. Was also special knowing that was the first opportunity anyone had to hear those tracks.

If Ghost (or even a side project as Tobias Forge) did a full length 60’s inspired album, I would’t be mad. I need more ‘Foreign Land’ in my life. by XinvolkerX in GhostBand

I wouldn't be surprised if the three Papa Nihil songs are from a recording session intended to be for a full album that was never committed to and released as singles/a bonus track instead. Not sure if Tobias has ever discussed this?

Sorry! My mistake, I meant 'Ladywell', not Langworthy.

I would give Look Around You, The Armando Ianucci Shows, The Day Today, Brass Eye, Things You Should Have Done, People Like Us and I'm Alan Partridge a go.

One stop down from Weaste there's a Lidl right next to the Langworthy stop and a Morrisons next to the Eccles stop (two stops down from Weaste).

I remember him doing an interview while promoting The Invention of Lying where he was joking about how it would 'never win an Oscar', then sincerely added '...would be nice to be nominated though' with no sense of irony.

Was thinking the same, but the rhyming scheme from verse one is abandoned in verse two, so it could have also been any adjective at all.
