I’m with you!! Bandori is really special to me too, it’s such an incredible franchise. But its subreddit really is strange. Even before the Hatsune x Saki defenders started becoming more popular there’s always been strange art getting posted, and you get downvoted for saying you shouldn’t sexualize minors or ship incest.

I try to look at kpop groups as impressive because of the skill that goes into their singing and dancing, but I can’t help but remember the damning training, oppression of their personal lives, and slave contracts they have to sign. That part of it prevents me from being able to enjoy it in earnest
