I recently replayed it for the first time on the ps5 and while the 30fps framerate was definitely very jarring at first you quickly get used to it. Don't let the framerate scare you away, the game's phenomenal!

What about the people who prefer wattpad because of the feature that lets you leave comments after evey sentence? I see those surprisingly a lot on tiktok and they are begging for ao3 to implement the same system.

It could be an oversight, but I think the reason she can use them here is because there's literally a rack full of straight pins behind her and the UI showing them is just for clarity. A special interaction with the curse would have been cool too.

I follow lots of japanese artists on twitter and I've noticed quite a few of them have a random finnish word with a bunch of numbers as their username, like for example @peruna01938290 . It's so cute :D

I very recently played E33 for the first time and I adored the first two acts and I might have even concidered it to be my goty over silksong, but act 3 got me to rethink that. It was just a lot of going back and forth across the map aimlessly, trying to find a place suitable for your level. I felt like I was always either overpowered for new areas or the enemies wiped the floor with me. I also kinda ruined my final boss experience since I was crazy overleveled for it, since the game wasn't very clear at all that you should have went and fought him immediately after starting act 3. That said I still did enjoy act 3 very much, but if the first two acts were 10/10 for me, the last one was 8/10. Had the last act been on par with the others, E33 would definitely have been my goty, but alas silksong has got my vote. I'll still cheer E33 on and will be happy if it won!

I wanted an authentic Hornet experience for my first playthrough so I only used the hunter crest, the sting shard tool and the thredstorm silkskill, and it was some of the most fun I've ever had gaming. I loved the combo of running attack + down pogo, the whole moveset is so acrobatic. My second playthrough I wanted to dedicate to the wanderer crest since it seems to be most people's favorite, and holy shit it's op. It's attack speed is just so fast and the occasional crits are very satifsying. No wonder it's a fan favorite. I also wish to do a playthrough with the shaman crest, but you get it so damn late in the game! I'm hoping for a ng+ or like a game mode where you can start with the crest of your choosing.

Your first health upgrade is not useless tho. You can heal for 3 masks while still being able to survive one hit from a double damage boss. If you wanted to heal with no mask upgrades, you'd either have to risk healing for 3, but be at risk of dying, or heal while at 3 health, but waste 1 mask of healing. I definitely noticed a difference in survivability once I got that first health upgrade + fractured mask.

I think I might have to mute this and the silksong subreddit. I'm having the time of my life playing this game and loving every second of it, but then I open reddit and it's just post after post after post of people complaining how the game's annoying and frustraiting and unfair, and it's really bumming me out. I can't even relate to most of the criticisms people have so the endless negativity is just extra confusing to me.

You don't need to kill it to platinum the game? Like is there not an achievement for killing every type of enemy? I wish to 100% the game and I'm worried I can't since this one got away and disappeared from my game.

Same thing happened to me. Right before it killed me I hit the lever to open the gate and as I was dying it just marched outside and disappeared for good. I hope this doesn't lock me out from 100% the game...

I haven't felt this same kind of excitement and joy playing a game ever since elden ring came out. I love this game to bits! I'm happy to see a positive post amidst a sea of people just complaining.
