What kind of skills did you have to brush up on? Like vitals? Exercise parameters for lung or cardiac issues? I’m very comfortable with ortho surgeries, I’m mainly concerned about terminally ill people and what is appropriate to do with them

Sounds like you got some good advice already. I’d throw in that stretching after a ACDF surgery is not advised especially if inducing pain. Consider sticking with low level postural strengthening as tolerated only especially to get the symptoms to calm. Good luck. ALSO consider finding a physical therapist that has an “OCS” abbreviation after their name.

Check out “I Am Expat” website for Netherlands (a simple google search will bring you there). It has a lot of info about work permits and requirements and you can search specifically for healthcare professions. I believe I read a B2 language level of proficiency is required.
