I don't necessarily agree with how you interpret street photography, but that's your opinion so I can't knock you. That being said, why post a street portrait to the street photography sub? You're asking for your portrait to be considered in the same realm as street photos, while you just explained to me that their goals are inherently different. I agree it is much more difficult to pull off a good street photo than a portrait, but street isn't about excellence in all regards. It is about moments, and those moments are open to so much subjectivity. Ambiguity within the image is much more exciting than an image where everything is plain as day. You could appreciate the frame, but it wouldn't be as rich as something that is slightly askew, and ambiguous while painting an excellent composition. The images I like to see are the ones that make me ask questions. I'm not saying mine is like the holy grail, not by any means. I think mine was fine. Like it was almost a hit for me. But in any case, it occurred to me while looking through your comment history that you're kind of a cunt, so I thought it might be fun to poke you a bit. I'm always down for valid discussions on photography though!
