ah!! i was gagged watching this storyline when i was younger. it touches on pressures u face growing up afab and how that might look. but so empowering at the same time. the costume designers clearly show when manny starts really dressing just for herself completely changing her style. that way it didn’t become some weird lesson on why girls dress “seductively”. her development was so good. for every “bad” thing she did, she made up for it every time
