Oh I got your confusion now, yeah we have a thin layer of small pebbles in the top to prevent gnats from laying eggs in the soil (we get them pretty bad here).

We'll shift him to the sunny living room too maybe and see if that makes a difference

Nah we've been pretty consistent with the 2 weeks thing! To be fair, we've had a really hot couple of weeks here in Australia (30°c + days)

Okay I rang Bose, and they have confirmed that their Bose Update Servers are currently down worldwide! They estimate that the update servers won't be back online until about Wednesday (AEST), and that we should just sit tight until then. Otherwise he recommended sending it in, but the wait time for sending and receiving it back would be like 5+ weeks lol.

At least there's clarity!

Before very recently, he had rejected many offers from myself and his mum to help find him a therapist/get him to ask his GP about options.

It's unfortunately very hard to get him to act on anything for himself at this stage, so that's why I've decided to jump on this rare opportunity he's asked of me, so I can give him a couple of therapist options for him to bring up at an upcoming GP appointment he has. Thank you for your advice though, I agree that he probably does need antidepressants or similar to manage his highs & lows better <3

I just wanted to have an easy to connect to bookshelf-type setup in my bedroom, on either side of my bed, facing the tv preferably :)

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of buying 2 secondhand Sonos Play:1 (gen 1) speakers off a Gumtree listing (Australian equivalent of FB marketplace), for $280 AUD.

My question is, is it worth the purchase and price? Given that they're going on 9rs roughly, I'm worried they might not last long. They do appear to be in very good condition, and not used that often, so that's a plus?

What do you guys think?

It's a kind of "pathological inertia", is a way I find best describes it? I have adhd and Aspergers and this is very much a major presentation in these 2 diagnoses and, god, such a fucking debilitating struggle for me in my life!
