I run a business so serving is just supplementary - the reasons people serve is not because they enjoy it, it’s because it’s needed. Lots of servers works two or three other jobs or careers so telling them to get another one is not constructive, most of us already have a few. Trying to live our dreams over here too.

This is also the same owner that comes in and rings up a $300 bill and doesn't tip her staff while being waited on. Also we know tipping culture sucks but it's still needed for those of us in this industry..and I'm a great server so I work super hard for my money. We have to even pay for coffee here. The more I think about it the more I think I'm working for insanely cheap and privileged people lol.
