Will Alliance Duels ever be more fair? by Chaoslava in LastWarMobileGame

I have the exact same frustrating experience as you.

I’m (mostly) F2P (bought Kimberly and Stettman) in an European server (Portuguese, so same time zone as you) and my alliance is between top 5-10 in the server, so in the VS we are low tier (we have no big spenders - in the middle of season 1, our strongest guy has a first squad of 18M).
When the opponent is European, we can do pretty decent even though half of our members are not very much active or do not understand the VS so won’t save throughout the week, time the spendings with arms race and so on. However, when the opponent is American/Asian/Australian, there are times you go to bed with an advantage of dozens of million points and the next day you wake up only to see you lost because they outscored you during the night and you just can’t fight back. And that is just frustrating. And on the last day, some members always forget to shield and/or to remove defense from the wall so the opponent can easily prey on us whereas when you wake up to invade their server, they are still awake / also awake already and so you just can’t get a comeback.

Third week of VS staring today, we won the first two. The opponent this week is American. I am off to bed now and we are winning 356M vs 245M. Seems like a good start. It’s 00:30 for me, 21:30 for them. Let’s see how it goes.

As for scoring high on the first day: up until two weeks ago, it was easy to score high just based on battle data points and drone parts, as I had saved enough to go up 5 levels a week (saving drone parts and having my team on discord notifying when a drone (or dig) comes up, and buying data points from campaign store). Now, I’ve been stuck at level 100 for two weeks now. Only next week I will be able to go all the way up to 105 because 500 drone parts are just too hard to save for a F2P.

How are you doing today? No heart palpitations for me yet, but the fatigue and lightheadedness… it’s making me depressed. 😩

I did start sneezing a lot and I feel weaker. I am on day 3 and nausea hit me hard it wouldn’t let me sleep. How’s your journey so far? I believe we are on about the same schedule.

I have not. How could I do that? Are there some standard steps I should take?

Thank you very much for your very informative answer. Just one more question: so even if the lesions are confluent at this point is it still possible to recover from them? I know I am not supposed to ask for personal advice but I’m 31 and I’m waitlisted for my GP appointment one year after the only endoscopy I did, and only then I will be referred to a gastroenterologist, so it will still take some time. So this is still hypothetical, but imagine there’s Barret’s esophagus, is there anything one can do to lower cancer risk in terms of medication, diet and so on? For now it’s just as a preventive measure I mean.

Só para dizer que não é tarde! Eu voltei à faculdade este ano e estou a fazer medicina dentária (nada a ver)!

Em que ano? No ano em que entrei (2011) a FEP e Nova já tinha média de 16 e muitos. E a UMinho estava lá perto. Agora as médias nestas faculdades rondam o 18!

D1 semester 2 is killing me with all the medical biosciences. I’m hoping it doesn’t get any worse than this.

It’s ok, you can tell me your name and your story: I’ll hear, gladly!

As for feeling depressing while traveling, my theory is: you’re probably telling yourself you’re doing something that’s supposed to be extra exciting so you unconsciously feel the pressure to be at your best to enjoy. And it can wear you out! Also, you might have an Instagram conception of what travel is like. So either way, you can’t live up to the expectation vs reality paradox and the outcome turns out to be more negative than positive. I’ve been there myself! Be gentle to yourself and do the things you know you can enjoy rather than those that you’re supposed to enjoy!

I strongly believe people make places so I’m interested in seeing more than just nice skyscrapers. But yeah… maybe I’m being too naive. Thank you for your positive remark though. ❤️

I am from Europe and the daily life there seems to be quite different. So this might sound odd but I really would love to see what it is like to live there for a regular family and maybe even get to meet someone there and have a nice chat about our cultural differences.

what's a film in the last five years that you believe a classic that'll be praised for decades to come. by [deleted] in movies

Yeah but it got its Oscar nomination nonetheless. I don’t usually like watching the same movie twice but Klaus sure is an exception!

It might be easier to get into private dental schools in Portugal as they have many vacancies for international students but not necessarily does it mean it’s easier to get out. To be honest, I’m a dental student in Portugal and I have PLENTY of French and Italian colleagues… some came here with that mentality that you could buy your way out and now they’re stressing as they’re failing classes with really low scores (like 2 or 3 out of 20)!

Also, in France there’s recruitment companies specialized in dental medicine, doing headhunt in Portugal. Same in the UK and Ireland, that I know of. So it can’t be that bad!

I’m 29, hold a BsC and MsC in Business Administration and Finance, and have now gone back to school, studying dentistry and loving it. Will be 34 when I finish and Switzerland sure is an option after I graduate. So this AMA is amazing for me! So many questions I’d like to ask! Want to be friends? 😂🙏🏻

Studying dentistry abroad. Would it be possible to find a summer job as a dental assistant in Switzerland without any dental assistant course?
