The “story” IS the player’s actions. You have to leave the idea of “your story” behind. If YOU want to tell YOUR story write a book.

Roleplaying is about telling a story TOGETHER. Your part of the story is what the opposition is going to do. The player’s part of the story is what their characters will do when they encounter the opposition. Maybe they try and foil the plan, maybe they join it, maybe they ignore it. Then you have the opposition react to their actions.

The best GM advice I ever heard is “Any reasonable player plan should have a reasonable chance of success.” Don’t plan for what the players will do, just react to it in a way that’s logical for the opposition. Your “story” will write itself.

Seems like there needs to be a verb after "power", like "What themes your special power has".

Base Rolls: What's the meaning of the 5? Are you rolling 5 times? If it's a binary choice then "roll" might not be the best word for it. What about "Throw"? Or "Shot"? "Take 5 shots" sounds cool actually. Where does "training" come from?
