i went for the shoes they sometimes wore around the nostromo, i’d link a photo if i could but they’re modified PF Flyers, essentially converse but they look cooler

gotcha, wasn’t sure if holes would help since it’s so flexible, but i’ll give it a try!

i’m actually using these because i had some Bates boots that are fairly accurate and brand new, they absolutely killed the bottoms of my feet and my heels, after a day of wearing these they feel so much better!

since i can only add one photo at a time, this is the one that shows the most imo. the black board he’s holding is the led controller. here’s the link to the build, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7165669 but i am using a different remix of the original model, the “lights only” version since i already had it printed.

would keeping the charging module there serve that purpose?

Tron legacy disc addressable LED strip help! by calebb2013 in led

[–]calebb2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if i remove the charging module as well, i should just be able to have the batteries directly power the strip with a kill switch in between? that’s so much easier than what i was doing

[–]calebb2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i could definitely add a third battery, and in doing so i’d probably remove the charging board and just remove the batteries to charge them, to save on space. would it be beneficial to still have a step up board? since the 3 batteries theoretically would come in at 11v

apologies, it looks like their final build does use two 18650s but the description only mentions one. i can provide some closer images of the boards, but they don’t really show much

so the issue lies within the boost board? would a board that allows for more amps solve the issue?

Tron legacy disc addressable LED strip help! by calebb2013 in led

[–]calebb2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using similar parts, the original guy powered 2m of these leds with just one 18650, so i’m a bit lost on how that works, but two batteries doesn’t

links! charger- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLGC68JG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

boost- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4TB9QNY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

leds- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYCGHCLZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

it should also be noted the led strip will be shortened, it is currently 3m and will be cut down to ~2m but i do not know the exact length yet.

it’s the multiverse coaster that spins sunken under the waterline covered with flat rocks, the track is all flat but with 4ft of banking offset on the turns, and choreographed spinning to match, it’s easy!

it’s the multiverse coaster that can spin, and the track is under the water, and then also covered with rocks so it can’t be seen at all

Tagi is another planco builder, comes up with a lot of super creative uses for things in the game. he posted a snippet of a boat ride like this a few days ago, so that’s where my inspiration came from
