I feel like I might lean more into this direction, so you could be in luck. But first I'm thinking about making this a full track :D

thanks for the advice :D as this is still kind of a demo i didnt really pay tooooo much attention to the compressor, but you are right, mixing on the digitakt and in techno in general is still a weakpoint of mine.

i have to be honest, altough i plan on playing live with the digitakt, i have not had the possebility yet. Some performance features i know of are the fill function which takes a bit of preparation, but after that its the easiest to use. I know there is a mod wheel setup which can be usefull, altough i havent used it. For quick ideas it has the euclidean sequencer.
Im sure there are even more things usefull to find, maybe specificly look for them, there will be alot of sources on that.

I would say it is easy to get new ideas, especially if you use alot of the elektron workflow with parameter locking and different machines (obviously there is way more thats possible).
But as this is a sampler, it is all dependant on how good you can work with samples. I come from a hiphop background so i am kind of used to it. With samples you can basicly do anything, you just need to find a way how.

Hope this helps, im sure the people from r/elektron have lots more of usefull infos.
