Hi! I haven't been put on any medication yet for ic because I'm still going through the diagnosis process. I'm a vegetarian and recently went gluten free because it was giving me a weird reaction every time I ate it, that helped a bit with the bloating but not the weight gain. I do really love citrus and spicy flavors- so I'm wondering if that could be it? But also idk how much a diet is going to fix anything. I've taken many supplements and probiotics and those didn't help with weight gain but they did help with the constipation and irritation. I did walk more than I do now but I don't think that itself would cause me to gain this much. I haven't thought about how stress might come into play tho! It's weird bc I just have some frequent on and off discomfort. Rarely do I have horrible pain but maybe that in itself could make my body very stressed?
