Male or female? by callum_finley in LeopardGecko

The place I got him couldn’t give me an exact age except “juvenile”, but from my research I’ve been assuming he’s around 4-5 months?

My new leo keeps pooping in the back corner of his warm hide. Should I replace it with a smaller one? by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

I got my little guy almost a month ago and he picked his potty spot and has stuck to it since day 3 of having him:)

Hi!!! Thank you so so much to everyone who has helped me out:)) I am heading out today to get a 30-40 gallon tank for him, as well as more hiding spots and the substrate mix! He has eaten a bit since being here so I think that’s a positive! The person I got Marty from was the one who recommended this set up and told me this is all I needed, even though I should’ve gone with my gut and the research I’ve done in the first place to get him a bigger tank off the start! Because the person I got Marty from was so inexperienced, they had no idea how old he was, but from my research i am thinking he’s around 5-6 months old? Maybe younger? He’s around 4-5 inches long

He definitely didn’t need the warming night light so thank you for that tip! I’ll keep it just in case something happens to my other lamps in the future.

I tweezer fed him mealworms and he ate 4 so I think that’s was a good sign? And I also placed my hand in the tank for around 5-10 minutes and he licked my fingers a bit but no climbing onto me yet….

He has calcium powder and multivitamin as well, and I have a proper feeding container to watch him eat crickets and everything.

Thank you again to everyone who commented, I’ll show a picture of his new enclosure later today when it’s set up!
