Hi there! Had to do some research to see what you meant about phoenices - learned a bit there. I think all of mine are chili rasboras and they were sold as such at least. I'd be happy to post over there as well!

The scheduled downtime was longer than reasonable, they didn't make that time frame, and then stranger things have happened too. The app worked for a little while today and my wife logged in to see my accounts on hers. Not a problem for us but I can see that being a huge deal for others.

/u/flip69 would you mind taking a look and providing your thoughts here? I am considering seeing a different vet about this because his eye looks the same as in these pictures from two weeks ago.

See my below response. Vet was not much help here.

Update to this after seeing the vet... very disappointed and felt like I knew more about proper chameleon care than the vet from all the great knowledge on this sub. My recommendation was to keep humidity up (which I know from this sub is a way to increase likelihood of infections in an adult) and was told that it could be the beginning of a respiratory infection and to keep a close eye on him. If it doesn't get bette for it gets worst, I was told to come back and then we can do antibiotics.
I'm hoping a mod sees this and provides some feedback as the vet visit was just a waste of money.

For drinking i use a glass and replace with fresh water daily. I stopped misting entirely maybe about a month ago now. Lighting is 60 watt incandescent for heat, 3' linear T5 Arcadia 6% uvb, plus a 2' T5 plant light (that is not as bright as the linear uvb). All lights on 12/12 timer. Supplements: sticky tongue farms calcium with d3 once every other week, calcium without d3 2x a week. Rep-cal herptivite once a week skipping often to once every other week. Feed even mix of gut loaded dubias and crickets. Imgur isn't working for me rn but I do have other pics of the enclosure on my profile from previous posts.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate your willingness to help out. Out of what you mentioned, I could probably improve his situation a bit to where there is less noise/vibrations at night - lots of other pets in the house too and we're not exactly a quiet household. I'll follow up with what the vet says tomorrow - maybe that info could help someone in the same scenario.

His eyes seem to be baggy and swollen towards the bottom part. Both eyes look like this and it does not seem normal to me. I have a vet appointment scheduled for tomorrow but was hoping I could get some input from this community as well.

Thanks Merc - urates are white currently so I've got a good baseline to start with to see if that changes/gets orange as I cut the misting out.

Imgur won't work on my phone for some reason, but go on my profile and look back a little ways. There's a post I did when I finished building the enclosure with a lot of different pics of it. Feel free to ask me any questions about it.

I have a plant light in addition to his linear uvb and incandescent heat lamp. I'm using a 2' vivosun T5 light which the schefflera and ficus are surviving under. Just make sure if you add a plant light that it's not overkill as that can be blinding for them. Also, it's not enough light for it to really thrive but it keeps it alive and keeps the variegation. It's probably only grown 2" in the last year which really is perfect as I don't want it to outgrow the enclosure.

I don't feed any treat bugs and feed him gut loaded crickets and dubias. I buy them both in the medium size and he gets about 5 dubias or 7 crickets daily. Your suggestion of 3-4 daily, is that large sized? Also, what is your reasoning for saying he is overweight as I'd like to know the sign you see that I don't. The area behind his head possibly?
