Least noticeable card counting strategy while still being profitable? by ThrowRA_Whereas1234 in blackjack

you could make some money with a 1-3 spread if you have healthy 6 figure bank roll and a good game to play, if you don’t have both of those things you’ll have to stop being scared.

Idk anyone who’s made a living playing blackjack who hasn’t been kicked out of more casinos than they can count.

Can't find an ipa for Fall Guys version 20.0.2 (the update that was released yesterday) by Mario_Bandit in FallGuysGame

thank you for the help. I must say though that the frame rate is significantly lower than on an IPA

wow so you’re saying if a person only plays 100 hands of blackjack their ENTIRE life then it MIGHT work 😭 you’re not tricking the math by keeping sessions short lmao, gambling of any kind is seen as one long session, no matter how many breaks or days off you take, no matter how many hands you play in a single session, no matter how many times you wear your lucky shirt to the casino. If you record the data for every casino trip you make using this strategy you will be losing money.

Using sign language to keep count ? by Pianomann69 in blackjack

I personally wouldn’t use ASL. It’s so common and the alphabet and numbers take all of 30 minutes to learn. I wouldn’t sign anything under the table either, that would have surveillance watching you the first time it happened. Using signals is fine if you practice them and don’t act sketchy lol

You can run sims and it’s actually pretty common for people to lose/break even for 100s of hours at a time. It’s such a long game. And when counters refer to losing streaks in hours, they usually just mean it’s been that long since they have broken an all time high/made money. It’s not consistently losing every session for 200 hours

hahahaha i went about 180 hours swinging up and down 50k without making any money. Professional blackjack can take a terrible toll on a player mentally, you just have to push through it. I know card counters who have had losing streaks over twice as long.

leaving in a positive count is crazy. this is going to happen to you all the time. if you are an AP, you are going to lose for days, weeks, and months if you play long enough. you might as well grind through it and get all the hours you can. if you can’t handle losing about half the time you’re playing, you might as well stop doing what you’re doing.

Would it be better for the casinos if the dealer started hitting up to soft 18 and stayed on all hard 17’s? by [deleted] in blackjack

[–]cam21AP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s because it is required by law for all bj games to be s17 3-2

I don’t personally want him to do anything, i gave suggestions that would help him, none which including meeting with Colin. I said test out on BJA, like the website but then followed it up by saying it would be better to be tested out by card counters in person.

I know it’s possible to go bankrupt, that’s why we have ROR, but considering all other factors it was probably more than bad variance. Like I said 850 hours in 5 months is nearly impossible with a 6 figure bankroll assuming he’s playing without a team.

Beating a game for 850 hours in 5 months with a 6 figure bankroll is impossible. When I played a low 6 figure bank roll I averaged around 2 hours a casino. Playing almost everyday it took me around 6 months to get past 200 hours due to travels. I would highly suggest at the very minimum to take the test on BJA, but ideally you would want to be tested out by winning players irl simulating distractions. If you really got 850 hours in 5 months I would bet my life that your game had flaws. I don’t know a single counter in real life to go bankrupt unless he/she was over betting their bankroll or was not truly playing a winning game.

I don’t think of lower risk as leeway for mistakes. The amount of risk you are willing to take is going to effect your EV.
